Thredbo is a pretty alpine village nestled into the foothills of Australia’s highest mountains, in the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park. The crisp waters of the Thredbo River meander through its centre, the mountain is on one side and the village on the other.

It is located along the picturesque Kosciuszko Alpine Way, half way between Cooma and Khancoban and has the perfect mix of beauty, conveniences, comfort and activities. From the top of the year round chairlift you are only footsteps from the amazing Main Range and only 6km’s from standing tall on Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko.

Thredbo really blossoms in the warmer months, wildflowers pop up everywhere and the once snowy slopes are now lush green trails creating a hikers and bikers paradise. There’s also a host of in-resort activities to enjoy like a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, bobsled, heated pool, fully equipped leisure centre, walks, waterslide, mountain biking, fly fishing and chairlift rides that are sure to nicely fill your day.
